The Pendleton Institute of Biblical Studies was developed to provide those serving in ministry the tools and resources needed to effectively share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to reach and mentor disciples. It provides students with a strong Biblical foundation on which to build.

The Bible is the foundation for all teaching at the Pendleton Institute of Biblical Studies.
The Institute offers two programs of study.

Biblical Studies is an ongoing program that offers classes which teach students how to understand the books of the Old and New Testaments within their historical, cultural, and theological context. This program also teach students how to study and apply the eternal truths of God’s Word in every aspect of life. This is accomplished by providing bible-based courses in a learning environment which promotes the development of  intellectual and spiritual maturity, servanthood and a sense of mission.

Ministry Introduction & Training (M.I.T)
was developed as a requirement for those  answering the call to ministry and seeking to become ordained elders and for those currently operating in ministry and looking to enhance and cultivate their call and capacity of service.

This program prepares students for full operation within the Church with focus on procedures in Baptism, Communion, Marriages and Funerals as well as Hermeneutics, Homiletics, Voice and Diction, Leadership and Administration, and more.
